Scandinavia has long been synonymous with cultivating icy-cool pop artists, but none stands out more than the versatile Danish singer/songwriter and political pop artist Soleima, who has devised an otherworldly sound all her own. The effortlessly talented singer/songwriter draws inspiration from many genres and life experiences, including time spent at an African dance camp, pursuing her degree in Anthropology, and her involvementwith Danish-language hip-hop septet Fldeklinikken. Since then, Soleima has built a high-brow cult following alongside support from notable publications such as DuJour, Refinery29, NYLON, PAPER, L’Officiel and more. The beginning of 2020 saw Soleima embark on her first official North American tour with Electric Guest as well as the release of her album Powerslide, which featured her popular songs “Cheers for The Tears” and “Roses”.Tallying over 32 million streams to her name and counting, this is only just the beginning for the rising star.
